Allan Weir was born to the Raven Clan of Old Massett on Haida Gwaii in 1981. Allan Weir has apprenticed with renowned Haida artist Christian White. He participates regularly in cultural events through singing and dancing. Allan's body of work includes sculpture and carving in argillite and cedar wood. Alan enjoys gathering and preserving the local food of Haida Gwaii and often participates in cultural events through singing and dancing.
